From Seattle you can get to Haines by flying, driving, taking a cruise, or you can meet up with the Alaska Marine Highway ferry in the port of Bellingham. Juneau International Airport is the hub for all air travel in Southeast Alaska. Our two major airlines Alaska Airlines and Delta Airlines, offers jet service from Seattle to Juneau, Fairbanks and Anchorage. Haines does not have a major airport so once you land in Juneau search out a smaller commuter plane to continue your flight into Haines. If you are flying into Fairbanks or Anchorage and renting an RV consider adding Haines as part of your itinerary, we are connected by the road system and you can travel through Haines going north or south. Situated on the Lynn Canal provides a beautiful water front port for our Alaska Marine Highway State Ferry (which takes vehicles) and invites cruise ships to dock. Options are endless on how to get to Haines and every visitor plans it their way!
Alaska Airlines offers year-round daily jet service from Seattle to Juneau, Fairbanks and Anchorage, and Delta Airlines provides seasonal service.
Alaska Marine Highway State Ferry has year-round service from the port of Bellingham, Washington to the Inside Passage of Southeast, Alaska.
