From Seattle you have plenty of choices on how to get to Haines. You can fly, drive, take a cruise, or you can even meet up with the Alaska Marine Highway ferry in the port of Bellingham to take the ferry here. Any flight with a major carrier will get you as far as Juneau, Fairbanks, or Anchorage. In Juneau you'll have to transfer to a regional carrier to finish the trip (visit the Juneau page for more info). If you are flying into Fairbanks or Anchorage and renting a car or RV, you can drive to Haines since we are connected by the road system! If you come by boat, Haines provides a beautiful water front port that welcomes cruise ships, as well as the Alaska Marine Highway System ferry (which takes vehicles from as far south as Bellingham, Washington). Options are endless on how to get to Haines and every visitor plans it their way!
