The 2025 Visit Haines Photo Contest has officially come to a close—thank you for sharing your moments with us!

This summer, we invited you to capture the spirit of Haines with the theme "Caught in the Moment"—and you delivered in full. From outdoor adventures and family celebrations to peaceful reflections on the water, your photos told powerful stories of life in the Chilkat Valley.

📸 Over 80 photographers—locals and visitors alike—submitted more than 300 images that truly captured Haines at its most vivid and personal. We were blown away by the participation and the beauty you shared.

2025 Contest Highlights

• 8 Weeks of Winners: Each week, two standout images received $50 gift cards to a local Haines business of the winner’s choice.

• Grand Prize Drawing: Five names were drawn from all participants, regardless of weekly wins.

  • 2 Grand Prize Winners: $250 Alaska Airlines gift cards

  • 3 Runners-Up: $100 gift cards to local Haines businesses
