Battery Point is a magnet for marine life. Visitors can spot whales, seals, sea lions, and various waterfowl from the beach. The nearby trail through the rainforest, rich
in wildlife and flora, including bears and moose, leads to Battery Point, renowned for its beautiful wildflowers in early May. This is a moderate hike and enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. It’s great for kids and you can make the hike as short or long as you would like so it’s perfect if you just have an hour or two and want to immerse yourself in nature.
