 safety & viewing protocols
It’s essential to be aware of your surroundings and adhere to posted signage for safety. Always respect wildlife by refraining from blocking their paths. Remember, it’s their home, and they have the right-of-way at all times.
Keep Your Distance – Never approach wildlife for any reason. Give bears plenty of space (100 feet) and remain calm. Stay together in
a group. Your approach may cost an animal valuable energy, or cause undue stress.
Time It Right – Bears are active throughout the day and night, with some venturing out
at night to feed without human disturbance. Respect the animals by not using spotlights or flash for photography, and more importantly, avoid flying drones in the area.
Keep Your Impact Low – It’s important not to attract or disturb wildlife. Engaging with these animals can alter their natural behavior and is illegal. Observe quietly from a distance to ensure a respectful and safe wildlife experience.
