Traveling to Haines
By Land: The Haines Highway connects with the Alaska Highway at Haines Junction, YT, 155 miles north of Haines.
By Sea: Alaska Marine Highway ferries stop in Haines on their way through the Inside Passage from Bellingham, Washington, to Haines and Skagway, Alaska.
By Air: Plane service will take you as far as Juneau, Alaska, or Whitehorse, YT. Make a connection from Juneau on to one of several commuter airlines that fly into the Haines airport. From Whitehorse, travel entirely by road or drive to Skagway and catch a ferry to Haines.
