Travelers between Haines and Skagway have multiple ferry options to choose from. The Haines/Skagway Fast Ferry offers daily summer service, providing a convenient walk-on transportation choice with speed and efficiency. Alternatively, the Alaska Marine Highway System (AMHS) operates regular ferry service, offering a traditional experience that accommodates both passengers and vehicles.

A day trip (or make it an overnight trip)
to Juneau departing out of Haines is an excellent option on the Fjordland Express. Sail down in the morning and watch for whales and explore the capital of Alaska.

Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve is on the other side of the Chilkat Range. Flightseeing day tours available over Glacier Bay or overnight in Gustavus and explore Glacier Bay a little longer.
