  • November 3, 2018 - Tapestry of Light Concert, Chilkat Center for the Arts
    Start the evening with a champagne reception at 6:30 pm, followed by a luminescent musical experience at 7 pm.  Featuring Carolyn Goolsby (vocals), Nancy Nash (piano) and Steve Tada (violin).

  • November 9, 2018 - 100th Anniversary of the Sinking of the Princess Sophia, Haines Sheldon Museum
    Opening reception for the “Titanic of the North: S.S. Princess Sophia” exhibit from 5-7pm. This is a traveling exhibit that commemorates the 100 year anniversary of the sinking of the Princess Sophia. This exhibit is brought to Haines courtesy of the Alaska State Museum, the Pioneers of Alaska - Juneau, and the Maritime Museum of British Columbia.  For more information call 907-766-2366.
     
  • November 9, 2018 - Wild & Scenic Film Festival, Harriett Hall/Fairgrounds
    Doors open at 6 pm, films begin at 7 pm.  There will be a dessert auction.  Advance tickets available at the Babbling Book, Takshanuk Office and the Fair office.

  • November, 2018 - Annual Lighting of the Library Fundraiser, Haines Borough Public Library
