Alaska Indian Arts, Inc.

AIA is located in historic Fort Seward in what was the Fort Hospital. For nearly fifty years, AIA has been dedicated to keeping alive the forms and traditions of Northwest Coast Art. Artists in residence practice totem carving, silverwork, printmaking and also experiment with new forms. Historic artifacts, regalia, and contemporary artwork are also displayed.

American Bald Eagle Foundation

Located at 2nd Avenue South and Haines Highway.
ABEF is a natural history museum and live raptor center with live bird presentations and an impressive diorama representing the Chilkat Valley. ABF also features a small gift shop specializing in art and other items with a natural history theme. The Foundation also hosts an annual Bald Eagle Festival in November that brings eagle enthusiasts from all over the world to Haines.

Haines Sheldon Museum & Cultural Center

What better place to orient yourself than at the museum dedicated to the history, culture and art of Haines and the Chilkat Valley. Native Tlingit art and culture, Haines history (Presbyterian Mission, Eldred Rock Lighthouse, Shipwrecks, Army Fort, Fishing, Logging, Mining) and the work of local artists are on display. Research archives.

Jilkaat Kwaan Cultural Tours

Located at 22 Mile, Haines Highway. Experience the tradition, dance, and culture of the Chilkat Tlingit people on a visit to Klukwan,
the last remaining village of the Chilkat Tlingit people. Book tours onboard through shore excursions office, also
